9 Reasons to Exercise

There’s so many days that you might not feel like working out. It happens to everyone. We could all use some help getting a few more reasons to exercise. Here’s 10 more reasons to workout for those times when you just don’t want to.

  1. Get better sleep
    • You may get an energy boost from working out, but you’ll be tired when you are ready to sleep. When you get into bed, you’ll fall asleep like a baby. You’ll get good a restful nights sleep and have a ton of energy when you wake up.
  2. Prevent back pain
    •  Most back pain is actually caused by the muscles in your back being too weak to handle strenuous activity. If you strengthen the muscles, you’ll be able to more or lift more without the possibility of injury.
  3. Prevent disease
    • Exercise has been shown to prevent all kinds of diseases. Keeping yourself fit and strong will help fit off or prevent things that could ail you.
  4. Lose weight
    • This one is a bit obvious but it’s going on here anyway. Burn fat and don’t let it come back.
  5. Reduce depression
    • Don’t take medicines that could have adverse effects. Some studies have shown that working out can be a better medicine than medicine.
  6. Improve memory
    • Some studies have shown that those who exercise regularly have a better memory.
  7. Boost confidence
    • Don’t just be good, look good too. Working out will help you look good and that will boost your confidence. Not just for the dating scene, but also possibly for impressing during a job interview.
  8. Don’t get sick!
    • Having a healthy body means you’ll have a good, functional, and effective immune system. Prevent illness by up to 50% by working out!
  9. Age slower
    • Exercise has been shown to help reverse some of the muscle loss that occurs as you age. You may be older but you can look and feel young.
